Seeking a Health and Safety Manager - ECHSM
Our Client Company is an employee-owned environmental company dedicated to changing the face of business by converting environmental cost into profit for its many loyal customers. Please submit your updated resume if you believe you may have the qualifications and experience I am looking for to fulfill their Health and Safety Manager position in Agawam, MA (preferred) or Atlanta, GA. The annual salary is 50K -80K dollars, depending on experience; relocation assistance is not currently available.
The Health and Safety Manager provides technical guidance, training, and inspection/risk analysis, as they apply to best practices, for various service groups within the company. Responsibilities range from the development of, or assistance in, the development of training materials, a quality management and employee health and safety program, an annual budget for office health and safety needs, health- and safety-related plans and programs, client prequalification of work documents, compliance of regulatory requirements for both office and field operations, collection, notification and recordkeeping associated with employee exposure assessments and medical monitoring requirements, employee rewards programs, company employment policies, documentation of OSH- reportable work incidents, and much more.
Requirements:
(Note: Only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered)
o A minimum of 5 years of management experience in an related field
o Health and Safety designations such as ASP, CSP, OHST, CHST, ARM, CIH (preferred)
o A broad understanding of applicable Federal and State regulations that affect ECS work operations
o Broad knowledge of basic principles of industrial hygiene, chemical hazards and reactions, physical hazards,
construction and industry safety requirements, or
o Professional certification indicating the above level of training, knowledge and experience is expected to be
gained within 18 months
oKnowledge of training techniques for both e-learning and facilitator based programs
oKnowledge of hazard/risk assessment techniques and quality management systems
